Waiting for a Future

The Rah-e-Nijat refugee camp in Pakistan is home to Hindu families who have left their communities in search of safety and stability. Many describe discrimination, insecurity and limited opportunities as reasons for their displacement. Life in the camp is marked by uncertainty. Families live in temporary shelters with limited resources while waiting for the chance to rebuild their lives. Despite these challenges, daily routines continue through work, family, education and faith. This series documents everyday life inside Rah-e-Nijat and the experiences of a community living between displacement and hope for a more secure future.
